How it works

Broadband light (BBL) targets pigment and vascular concerns by color, while fractional lasers (MOXI, HALO) create micro-zones of treated skin that the body replaces with fresh, even, smoother tissue.

What to expect

BBL and MOXI typically involve little downtime — some redness and a “coffee-ground” sloughing of pigment for a few days. HALO involves a few days of redness and peeling. We match the treatment to your goals and downtime.

What is the difference between BBL HERO, MOXI and HALO?

They do different jobs. BBL HERO (broadband light) goes after pigmentation, redness and sun damage. MOXI is a gentle non-ablative laser that resurfaces for tone and texture with minimal downtime. HALO is a hybrid laser, ablative and non-ablative together, for deeper resurfacing and glow. We often combine them.

How much downtime do laser treatments have?

It depends on the device. MOXI and BBL usually mean a few days of redness, with pigment that darkens and sheds like coffee grounds. HALO and deeper resurfacing mean a few days of redness and peeling. We match the treatment to the downtime you can take.

How many sessions will I need?

Many clients see a glow after a single BBL or MOXI, and we usually recommend a series of three a few weeks apart for pigmentation and texture. Your plan is set at your consultation.

Are laser treatments safe for my skin?
