What is HALO?

Also known as: Sciton HALO, HALO Hybrid Fractional Laser

HALO is a Sciton hybrid fractional laser that combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in one treatment to resurface skin and reduce sun damage with manageable downtime.

HALO is Sciton's hybrid fractional laser, meaning it delivers both ablative and non-ablative energy in the same treatment. The ablative portion resurfaces the skin's surface for visible improvement in tone and texture, while the non-ablative portion works deeper to stimulate collagen, balancing strong results with a more reasonable recovery.

HALO is often chosen for sun damage, uneven pigment, fine lines, and dull or aging skin, leaving a notable glow as the skin renews. Downtime is typically a few days of redness and flaking. Your provider customizes the depth and coverage to your skin and your schedule.
