What is HIFEM?

Also known as: High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic, HIFEM technology

HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) is an energy that triggers thousands of strong, involuntary muscle contractions in a single session to build and tone muscle.

HIFEM stands for High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic energy. It passes harmlessly through the skin and fat to reach muscle, where it forces the muscle to contract far more intensely and far more often than you ever could through voluntary exercise. A typical treatment can prompt the equivalent of tens of thousands of contractions over the course of a session.

Because the muscle is pushed to work this hard, it responds by remodeling and strengthening its fibers over a series of sessions. HIFEM is the muscle-building half of EMSCULPT NEO, where it is paired with radiofrequency heat that also reduces fat. It is a comfortable, hands-free way to tone areas like the abdomen, buttocks, arms, and thighs.
