Belotero Volume is a hyaluronic acid filler made by Merz Aesthetics, a sibling product to Belotero Balance within the same line. It uses the same Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM) hyaluronic acid gel technology as Belotero Balance, but is formulated for deeper placement under the skin, so it is intended to restore volume and improve contour in areas such as the cheeks and midface rather than smooth finer surface lines. Belotero Volume had been available in Europe and other markets for a number of years before reaching the United States. According to trade press coverage of a Merz Aesthetics announcement, the lidocaine-containing version, Belotero Volume (+), received FDA approval around September 14, 2026, to improve volume deficit in the midface or correct midface contour deficiencies in adults 22 years of age and older, with US commercial availability reported to begin the following month.
