UDERMA Medspa & Laser wants every patient to be able to read about our treatments, watch our videos and book a visit, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what we do and how to reach us when something does not work for you.
What we follow
The site is built and checked against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Every page on the site is checked with the axe engine on desktop and mobile layouts, and the page templates are re-checked every week. Automated checks catch part of the picture, so we also go through the pages patients use most with a keyboard alone, and review what a screen reader announces on them.
What that means on the page
- Every image that carries meaning has a text description; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- The menu, the treatment finder, the booking flow and the contact form work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and buttons meet the AA contrast ratio, including the gold brand colour, which was darkened where it sits on white.
- Every treatment video has a spoken narration with a caption track, shown by default, and videos with an article carry a written transcript on the page, so nothing is only available as sound.
- Headings, landmarks and link text describe where they lead; pages are readable at 200 percent zoom without sideways scrolling.
- Motion is limited, and animations respect the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
